Geraldine Elizabeth “Kitty” Kaylor, 95, of Butler, passed away Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, at Lowrie Place in Butler.

She was born Jan. 24, 1928, in Butler, the daughter of the late Harry A. and Mary (Scott) Manny.

Geraldine enjoyed gardening, crocheting and making her famous chocolate chip cookies.

Surviving are her daughter, Debra Young of Naples, Fla.; her son, Braden “JR” (Debbie) Kaylor of Butler; five grandchildren, Crystal, Scott, Lisa, Jenna and Jill; nine great-grandchildren, Foster, Jaxon, Austen, Ayla, Wyatt, Parker, Penn, Avery and Emersyn; and her sister, Betty Vandervort of Dayton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Braden Kaylor, whom she married June 14, 1955, and who passed away on Feb. 6, 2018; four brothers and four sisters.

KAYLOR — A private burial for Geraldine Elizabeth “Kitty” Kaylor, who died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, was held at the Butler County Memorial Park.

Arrangements are under the direction of YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
