Police reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler

Dec. 27 — Davaughn O. Irvin, 41, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault. Police said he struck someone in the face.

Dec. 23 — Justin M. Shegog, 41, of Ambridge, was charged with misdemeanors simple assault, reckless endangerment and accidents involving property damage. Police said he struck someone in the face, kicked them in the ribs, and crashed his vehicle into another vehicle without leaving any information.

Dec. 22 — Marc A. Pippens Jr., 34, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he struck someone in the face.

Butler Twp

Dec. 29 — Michael Calafiore, 58, of Prospect, was charged with misdemeanor stalking and summary harassment. Police said he left numerous voice mails for a business containing vulgar language.

Cranberry Twp

Dec. 24 — James M. Jones, 25, of Cranberry Township, was charged with felony strangulation, misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he placed his hands around someone’s neck during an altercation.

State police, Butler

Dec. 29 — Stephen J. Brown, 28, of Butler, was charged with six counts of misdemeanor DUI after crashing his vehicle in Oakland Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.197% with traces of THC. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Dec. 29 — David D. Malz, 51, of New Castle, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said he sold $970 worth of stolen parts.

Dec. 28 — Jacob C. Minton, 26, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Dec. 8 on Bonniebrook Road, Summit Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.164%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Dec. 27 — Chad W. Mitchell, 45, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Dec. 24 on Homewood Drive, Butler Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.123%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Dec. 22 — Autumn L. Krohe, 25, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Police said she refused to comply with officers’ commands.

Dec. 22 — David L. Humphrey, 32, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summaries harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said he punched someone in the face.

Dec. 22 — Pernell R. Thompson, 37, of Butler, was charged in two separate cases with felony drug possession and misdemeanors tampering with evidence, evading arrest and use and possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped him on Pine Street, Butler. Police said he fled officers on foot and was found in possession of a crack pipe. While being processed in Butler County Prison, he was also found in possession of suspected cocaine, police said.

Dec. 22 — Jordyn A. Manny, 20, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said she was found with a vape pen.

Dec. 22 — Jeffrey J. Rivers, 35, of Lyndora, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and child endangerment after crashing his vehicle Oct. 14, 2023, on Carbon Center Road, Summit Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.189%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Dec. 22 — George W. McCrea Jr., 54, of Chicora, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor DUI after crashing his vehicle Nov. 23 on Oneida Valley Road, Summit Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of clonazepam, alprazolam and buprenorphine in his system.

Dec. 22 — Antraqura Lindsey, 30, of Aliquippa, was charged with felony and misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Boscov’s with $340 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Dec. 22 — Felipe A. Twillie, 30, of Erie, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Sept. 3 in Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.098%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Dec. 22 — Zaine Karenbauer, 18, of Chicora, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Dec. 16 on Geibel Road, Summit Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.190%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Dec. 22 — Jeffrey L. Bastian, 59, of Parker, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he hit someone several times during an altercation.
