State police are seeking to identify a suspect who allegedly committed several thefts at Independence Health System locations in Butler County.

One theft reportedly occurred Jan. 6 at the outpatient services building on Oneida Valley Road, police said. A resident of Bruin told troopers several tools were stolen from his parked vehicle.

The suspect was identified as the driver of a silver Hyundai Santa Fe with the registration plate removed.

Similar reports were received by Butler city and township police about an unknown person removing items from cars parked at Butler Memorial Hospital, documents showed. The alleged suspect in that incident also was driving a silver Santa Fe.
