Merle Eugene Fox, 74, of Worthington, passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023, at Quality Life Services — Sugar Creek.

He was born May 26, 1949, the son of the late Kenneth B. and Mary E. (Bauldoff) Fox.

He was a retired labor contractor for Tim Booher at NUS, National Underground Storage, for 18 years. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and playing cards.

He is survived by three brothers and two sisters, Henry Fox and Owen Fox of Worthington, John Fox of Cherry Tree, twin sister, Mary L. Green of Worthington and Katherine Louise Nulph of Fenelton.

Merle was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Robert K. Fox and Kenneth B. Fox Jr.

FOX — A graveside service for Merle Eugene Fox, who died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Lawn Haven Burial Estates, 1290 Butler Road, Worthington, with Pastor Sue Foster officiating. Friends are invited to a luncheon following services to be held at Buffalo Valley Beagle Club, 172 Beagle Club Road, Craigsville.

Arrangements are under the care of F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington.
