John W. Bowser Jr., 81, of Cabot, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024.

He was born in Homestead, on April 9, 1942, to the late John Sr. and Katherine (Watkins) Bowser.

John worked as a quality control inspector/production manager at Westinghouse for most of his career, then he retired from Spang & Company. He loved model trains, gardening and golfing in his free time. John was known for his loving and caring personality as well as being a great dad and husband.

He was the beloved husband of the late Genevieve (Whyel) Bowser, from 1962 until her time of passing in 2014. He was the father of Kathy (Laura) Bowser, John Bowser III and Jennifer Hickman; brother of Duane Bowser; and grandfather of Branden and Aiden.

BOWSER — A memorial service for John W. Bowser Jr., who died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Wilkins Township Municipal Building, 110 Peffer Road, Turtle Creek, Pa.
