More than 500 without power in Butler County on Wednesday

UPDATE: As of 1:10 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 10, power has been restored to homes in Adams and Buffalo Townships. Only 22 customers are without power in various parts of the county.

More than 500 homes are without power throughout Butler County on Wednesday morning, Jan. 10, according to FirstEnergy.

Just over 300 customers in Buffalo Township are experiencing outages due to severe weather, according to FirstEnergy’s outage website. There is no estimated time of restoration.

In Adams Township, 233 homes experiencing outages. Power is expected to be restored at 10 a.m., according to the website.

Forward Township is reporting 14 outages, with Mars right behind at 11. Outages are also being reported throughout Winfield, Washington, Summit, Venango, Fairview and Slippery Rock Townships and Petrolia.
