Butler County Symphony names music director finalists
The Butler County Symphony Association has named three finalists for the music director position following a review process of more than 100 candidates representing 23 states and 11 countries.
Finalists Austin Chanu, assistant conductor of The Philadelphia Orchestra, Moon Doh, associate conductor of the Pittsburgh Symphony and Daniel Wiley, assistant conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, will each program and conduct two concerts in the 2024-25 concert season.
The programs chosen by the finalists will be announced at the beginning of March. At the end of the audition process the successful candidate will be appointed as music director of the Butler County Symphony Orchestra in May of 2025.
