Darryl Lee Stanley, 63, of Butler, passed away due to cancer on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024.

Born July 8, 1960, in Fort Sill, Okla., Darryl was a man who never minced words: he said things as he saw them. He lived life his own way, and once he set his mind to something, he never gave up.

Darryl was an electrician by trade, but if something was broken, he could fix it. He was an avid Harley man, who enjoyed the outdoors and always gave a helping hand to friends and family. He retired from Vogel Disposal Service in 2023.

Darryl is survived by his children, Dhyana and Donavin Stanley; his parents, Bert and Louise Stanley; two sisters, Donna Braun and Mary Valent; one brother, Bryan Stanley; and his partner, Judy Boyle.

STANLEY — Family and friends of Darryl Lee Stanley, who died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. Prayers will immediately follow in the funeral home.
