The Butler County Genealogical Society will meet at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in the downstairs meeting room at the Butler Area Public Library, 218 N. McKean St., Butler.

The nomination of officers will be held, followed by two videos by Aimee Cross titled “Why Does Ancestry.com Cost So Much?” and “New Changes = New Charges on Ancestry Explained.”

The videos will include information on how to save money while using Ancestry.com, and a discussion led by Randy will follow.

Also, members are reminded to renew their annual membership. Cost is $15 for an individual and $25 for a family.

Members and nonmembers are welcome to attend.
