Joyce E. Green, 82, of Herman, passed away Monday morning, Jan. 15, 2024, while residing at Shelbourne Personal Care Home.

She was born Sept. 24, 1941, in Butler, a daughter of the late Michael Lovric and Emily (Nanni) Lovric.

Joyce had worked as a secretary for Pullman Standard Company until the plant closed. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman. She loved her dogs and talking about astrology. She was a great friend to many and will be truly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband, William R. Green, whom she married April 20, 1963; one brother, Chris Lovric (Sandy “DeDe”) of Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Pat Lovric of California and Pearl Green of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, three brothers-in-law, and two sisters-in-law.

GREEN — A Mass of Christian burial for Joyce E. Green, who died Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 821 Herman Road, Butler. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Butler.

Arrangements are by GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
