Police reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

Jan. 5 — David E. Anderson, 57, of New Kensington, was charged with misdemeanor driving with a suspended license after police stopped him Dec. 16, 2023.

Jan. 4 — David Scott, 73, of Harmony, was charged with misdemeanor accidents involving property damage. Police said he left the scene of a crash without leaving information.

Butler City

Jan. 8 — Gregory D. Beer Jr., 29, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after crashing his vehicle Jan. 1 on Center Avenue. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.191%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Butler County Detectives

Jan. 8 — Taylor L. Davidson, 29, of Butler, was charged with two counts of felony contraband. Police said she was found with several bags of fentanyl while being processed in the Butler County Prison.

Cranberry Twp

Jan. 5 — Angela A. Watt, 30, of Sarver, was charged with felony and misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Target with a cellphone without paying for it.

Middlesex Twp

Jan. 8 — Jennifer L. Bear, 53, of Valencia, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after crashing her vehicle on Old Route 8. Police said she showed signs of impairment, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.221%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Jan. 7 — Travis W. Miller, 35, of Valencia, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor simple assault. Police said he grabbed someone by the neck.

Slippery Rock

Jan. 7 — Shelly M. Roman, 49, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was found with suspected methamphetamine, a grinder, methadone and various pills.

Jan. 7 — Russell G. Watt, 44, of Slippery Rock, was charged with driving with a suspended license after police stopped him Jan. 4 on Franklin Street.

State police, Butler

Jan. 9 — Erin C. Torres, 35, of Lyndora, was charged with three counts of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was found with two glass crack cocaine smoking pipes and suspected crack cocaine.

Jan. 8 — Samantha A. Best, 30, of Ford City, was charged with misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was found with four bags of suspected heroin and a razor blade.

Jan. 8 — Jason E. Maharg, 43, of Lancaster, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Jan. 1 on Teakwood Road, Center Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.191%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Jan. 5 — Jeffrey M. Lynn, 47, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Dec. 15, 2023, on Route 19, Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.16%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Jan. 4 — David J. Trombatt, 61, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Nov. 23, 2023, on Route 8, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.116%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
