Boyle

John Francis Boyle, 74, of Richland Township, Gibsonia, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 23, 2024, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born in Butler on March 24, 1949, he was the son of the late John E. and V. Patricia Dempsey Boyle.

John had been a dispatcher for T & J Hopper Building Supplies in Gibsonia.

He was a life member of the Valencia Volunteer Fire Department, now Adams Area Fire District.

Surviving are a daughter, Heather Boyle of Bairdford; a son, John F. Boyle Jr. of West Mifflin; his grandchildren, Dustin, Dakota, Ashley, Acadia, Lucia and Lucien; two sisters, Eileen Lichtenfels of Mars and Carol A. Boyle of Gibsonia; and a brother, Edward J. Boyle (Theresa) of Clayton, N.C.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heidi Green; and his sister, Alice Hayes.

BOYLE — A celebration of life for John Francis Boyle, who died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the community center of The Estates of Seven Fields, 260 Jameson Way, Seven Fields.
