A West Sunbury woman was accused of breaking into a Clay Township residence last month and damaging property, according to state police.

Police said Makenzie Brown, 20, allegedly burglarized a home on Vidic Road around 1 a.m. Dec. 23.

Documents showed mud was found inside the residence and a heater was damaged, but there were no signs of damage to any of the entrances.

Police said they discovered Brown was a former tenant of the residence.

Following an interview, police said Brown disclosed she entered the home through a rear window and damaged some items inside.
