James Bauman

James L. Bauman, 74, of Greenville, Pa., passed away on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, while under the care of UPMC Horizon.

Born July 13, 1949, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Floyd and Marian Bauman.

Jim was a member of St. Peter’s Reformed Church in Zelienople. He served as a board member and treasurer of the International Harvester Collectors Chapter 16. He was a hunter and gardener, and he loved to collect antique tractors. Jim worked at Billco Manufacturing in Zelienople until his retirement.

Jim was a generous person who always lent a helping hand. He was a great neighbor and was always cutting firewood for others to use. Jim loved farming and was doing what he loved to do the day he passed away. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jean E. (Dambaugh) Bauman, whom he married on Oct. 10, 1969; his son, Bob Bauman and his girlfriend, Kristan; his grandchildren, Dustin and Kylee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his three brothers, Lewis, Bill and Randy.

BAUMAN — Friends of James L. Bauman, who died Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, will be received from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter’s Reformed Church, 320 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

Jim will be laid to rest at Plains Presbyterian Church Cemetery, in Cranberry Township.
