While the Steelers fell short of the Super Bowl this year, some lucky students from Slippery Rock University have made the trip to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The National Football League selected a group of students from SRU’s sport management program to work behind the scenes at the event. The students include Tanner Babeo, Connor Cruise, Kendall Grossman, Zoe Johnson, Aaron McCloskey, Ethan McMaster, Katelyn Mumma, Ryan Naugle, Lia Palermo, Kaylie Pillart, Artie Prioletti and Italia Romano.

The students were tasked with assisting at the Bart Starr Awards Breakfast and the NFL Fan Experience, as well as assisting with hospitality during the big game itself.

In addition, event security company Allied Universal selected sophomores Brandon Boyles, Ty Kefauver and Brayden Himmelberger to assist with event security. The three also assisted with security at Acrisure Stadium during the Steelers’ home games this season.
