Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum

Of Note: Special interactive exhibits and rarely seen artifacts convey the dramatic story of the Roosevelt era as the Roosevelt Library brings a “New Deal to a New Generation.”

Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum

Of Note: The exhibits in the museum galleries tell the life and times of Hoover from his birth, to his life as an engineer, Secretary of Commerce, President of the United States, and his post-presidential work. Eight-foot glass etched portraits mounted on the rotunda walls depict “the Great Humanitarian” from West Branch at the start and near the end of his 50 years of public service.

Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum

Of Note: Established in 1957, the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library & Museum preserves and provides access to President Truman’s historical materials. Through engaging exhibits and programs, the library aspires to reach a broad and diverse audience in a continuous effort to keep Truman’s life and legacy alive, emphasizing his ideals of citizenship, learning, and service.

Of Note: Visitors can explore the extraordinary life and legacy of the only 5-star General who became President of the United States. The vast holdings of the Library consist of approximately 26 million pages of historical records and papers, 335,000 photographs, 768,000 feet of original motion picture film and 70,000 artifacts.

The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum

Of Note: The museum uses high definition, large-screen projections, interactive displays, re-mastered films and original artifacts from the life and times of JFK to bring to life Kennedy’s 1,000 days in office. Visitors have described the museum as "an unforgettable journey through American history and the life of a truly remarkable man."

LBJ Presidential Library and Museum

Of Note: The library houses 45 million pages of historical documents, 650,000 photos and 5,000 hours of recordings from Johnson's political career, including about 643 hours of his recorded telephone conversations.

Richard Nixon Library and Museum

Of Note: The Nixon Presidential Materials Collection contains approximately 46 million pages of documents, 3,700 hours of recorded Presidential conversations known as the “White House Tapes,” 4,000 separate recordings of broadcast video, nearly 4,500 audio recordings, 300,000 still photographs, two million feet of film, and more than 42,000 state and public gifts.

Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library & Museum

Of Note: At the core of the Museum is the permanent exhibit, which allows visitors to experience highlights from President and Mrs. Ford's lives. The exhibit teaches democratic citizenship and allows for quiet reflection. In addition to the permanent exhibits, changing temporary exhibits draw artifacts from Museums all over the country.

Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum

Of Note: The museum’s holdings include over 60 million pages of documents, over 1.6 million photographs, a half million feet of motion picture film and tens of thousands of audio and video tapes. Additionally, the Library houses personal paper collections including documents from Ronald Reagan’s eight years as governor of California.

George Bush Presidential Library and Museum

Of Note: The core of the permanent collection is comprised of gifts given to President and Mrs. Bush during his term in office, including gifts from foreign heads of state. We are also fortunate to have a collection of artifacts from his eight years as Vice President and from all areas of his many years of public service.

William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum

Of Note: The exhibits at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum tell the story of Clinton’s life and the Clinton Presidency. The permanent exhibits, located on all three floors of the museum, present the story of Clinton’s life before becoming president, during his terms in office, as well as his post-presidential work.

George W. Bush Presidential Museum

Of Note: The George W. Bush Presidential Museum promotes a greater understanding of the American presidency and examines the consequential times during which President and Mrs. Bush served. The museum offers a moving exhibit on Sept. 11, 2001, a replica Oval Office, and an interactive experience in presidential decision-making through the Decision Points Theater.
