College notes

DAVID BOCCI (Butler), swimming for Clarion, won the PSAC title in the 200 butterfly, posting a time of 1 minute, 47.45 seconds. Bocci took third place in the 200 backstroke in 1:48.84, breaking the school record.

CADEN TRAGGIAI (Knoch), swimming for Penn State Altoona, placed fourth in the 400-yard individual medley at the AMCC Championships. His time of 4:14.83 snapped his own previous school-record time of 4:25.60. He was also AMCC runner up in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a school-record time of 16:32.18.

HUNTER SWEDISH (Seneca Valley), wrestling for Washington & Jefferson, won the 141-pound championship at the Presidents’ Athletic Conference meet. He won by a 12-3 major decision in the final.

JADEN DAVINSIZER (Seneca Valley) scored 17 points for Grove City in the Wolverines’ 83-64 women’s basketball loss to Chatham.

EMMA PLANK (Slippery Rock/Portersville Christian) finished third in the 1,650-yard freestyle for Grove City’s women’s swim team at the PAC Championships with a time of 18:48.41.

MEGAN WISE (Moniteau) took fifth in the shot put for Grove City at the Mount Union Tune-Up meet with a throw of 36 feet, 2 inches.
