Police reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

Feb. 5 — Michael J. Freeman, 45, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor trespassing. Police said he did not comply with commands to leave a convenience store.

Jan. 31 — Bernard Thomas, 48, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he was found with a Chore Boy scrubbing pad and a crack pipe.

Jan. 31 — Anthony J. Oesterling, 37, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he was found with suspected crack cocaine.

Butler Twp

Feb. 4 — Raymond R. Ondic Jr., 37, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summaries harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said he punched someone in the face.

Cranberry Twp

Jan. 31 — Willie C. Johnson, 32, address not listed, and Aleece L. Morgan, 32, of Pittsburgh, were charged with felony and misdemeanor conspiracy and theft. Police said they left Lowe’s with $972 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Jackson Twp

Jan. 29 — Stephen M. Rausch, 40, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he punched someone in the face.

Office of State Inspector General

Jan. 29 — Deborah A. Hines, 49, of Butler, was charged with felony fraud. Police said she failed to report her income for SNAP benefits.

Penn Twp

Feb. 6 — Edwin A. Callender III, 32, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors theft and criminal mischief. Police said he damaged a door and removed cash from an office at Diehl Automotive.

Slippery Rock

Feb. 5 — Carson M. Kyko, 22, of Stoneboro, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Jan. 27 on Franklin Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.211%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Slippery Rock University

Jan. 31 — Garret R. Hoffman, 18, of Sharon, was charged with misdemeanors strangulation and disorderly conduct and summary harassment. Police said he put his arm around someone’s throat.

State police, Butler

Feb. 5 — Vivian L. Wolfe, 42, of Hilliards, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her Feb. 2 on Parker Pike, Parker Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.175%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Feb. 2 — Branden M. Spare, 33, of East Butler, was charged with felony DUI after police stopped him Jan. 27 on Mushroom Farm Road, Clearfield Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.

Feb. 2 — Ryan A. Miano, 32, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and drug possession after police stopped him Jan. 27 on Chestnut Street, Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.183%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%. A small amount of marijuana and glass pipe were found on his person, police said.

Feb. 2 — Kurt J. Leinenbach, 37, of Cabot, was charged with misdemeanors false report and driving with a suspended license. Police said he misinformed police after he was involved in a crash Jan. 24 on Clearfield Road, Clearfield Township.

Jan. 31 — Courtney L. Isaacson, 30, of West Sunbury, was charged with felony drug sales and misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was found growing four marijuana plants.

Jan. 31 — Mark W. Francis, 65, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and drug possession after crashing his vehicle Jan. 1 on Route 422 in Summit Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment and was found in possession of suspected marijuana.

Jan. 30 — Levi C. Ifft, 31, of West Sunbury, was charged with five counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Dec. 29, 2023, on West Sunbury Road, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.142% with traces of THC. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Feb. 12 — Kevin H. Klein, 64, of Prospect, was charged with misdemeanor false statements. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at X-Ring Custom Gunsmithing in Connoquenessing Township.

State police, Mercer

Jan. 30 — Christopher L. Nichols, 31, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with a small amount of suspected marijuana.

Jan. 30 — Nicholas A. Sauter, 22, of Lower Burrell, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Nov. 3, 2023, on Route 422, Clearfield Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in his system.
