Robert H. Ozmun, 91, of Evans City, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024.

Born Feb. 5, 1933, in Rochester, N.Y., he was the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Quay) Ozmun.

Bob had a decorated career. He was the senior vice president and chief financial officer of Grocers Supply Corp. in Houston, Texas, and was a board member of Protection Mutual Insurance Co. He was a member of the finance committee at the Slippery Rock United Methodist Church and the Junior Chamber of Commerce in Altoona. He loved sports and especially enjoyed golf, tennis and racquetball. He also loved to feed the birds and deer outside his home. Above all, Bob was a family man who adored his children and grandchildren and was always there when they needed him. He will be dearly missed.

Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 67 years, Peggy L. (Delaney) Ozmun; his son, Randy Ozmun; his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Ozmun; and his grandchildren, Delaney E. (Noah Nance) Ozmun and Kendall L. Ozmun.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son, the Honorable Scott Alan Ozmun, who passed in 2009; his siblings, Frank Ozmun and Joyce Ferrell; and his beloved dog, Chloe.

OZMUN — Private funeral arrangements for Robert H. Ozmun, who died Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
