Mars Area School District’s elementary schools will participate in a “Food Fight Challenge” Feb. 26 through Friday, March 8, challenging each other to see which school can collect the most non-perishable food items.

Students at Mars Area Centennial School, Mars Area Elementary School and Mars Area Primary Center will participate. Donations may be dropped off during school hours at any of the three schools.

Monetary donations also will be accepted online at https://MASDSpringFood.givesmart.com.

The food drive benefits Inspired Hearts and Hands, a local non-profit addressing food insecurity and economic hardship.
