Police reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

Feb. 7 — Tommie L. Reed, 65, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he removed a license plate from one vehicle and placed it on another without permission.

Butler Twp

Feb. 8 — Ariana J. Calabrese, 29, of McKees Rocks, was charged in two separate cases with felony theft. Police said she left Ulta Beauty with $3,000 worth of merchandise on several occasions.

Feb. 8 — Benjamin W. Roberts, 41, of Evans City, was charged with felony and misdemeanor false statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Dicks Sporting Goods.

State police, Butler

Feb. 8 — Jason P. Stephenson, 42, of Butler, was charged with felony drug sales and two counts of misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he was found with 50 stamp bags of heroin and $3,000 in cash.

Feb. 8 — Markus E. Phipps, 18, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with a small amount of marijuana.

Feb. 8 — Darla J. Ressler, 41, of Penn, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said she took a wallet that was not hers and made unauthorized purchases.

Feb. 7 — Jerraine C. Turner, 21, of Murrysville, was charged with misdemeanors resisting arrest and false identification to an officer and summaries disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Police said he threw a beer bottle at a police vehicle.

Feb. 7 — Harry F. Gordon, 43, of Harmony, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Feb. 4 on Country Lane Road, Franklin Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath tests showed his blood alcohol content at 0.179%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Feb. 6 — Casey R. Brown, 30, of Homestead, was charged with two counts of felony forgery and misdemeanor theft. Police said he removed a check from a mailbox and altered it to bear his name.
