State Rep. Tim Bonner, R-17th, is hosting property tax and rent rebate clinics throughout his district to assist eligible seniors and people with disabilities claim rebates.

The program is open to those 65 years and older; widows and widowers 50 years and older; and people with disabilities 18 years and older. Income limits increased this year to $45,000 for both homeowners and renters, so people who were earning too much to qualify before may be eligible now. According to a news release from Bonner’s office, 50% of Social Security is excluded when determining your income.

The clinics will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at North Trails Library, 1553 W. Sunbury Road; March 5 at Slippery Rock Borough Office, 306 E. Water St.; March 12 at Marion Township Municipal Building, 2275 W. Sunbury Road; March 26 at Wilmington Township Municipal Building, 35 Auction Road; and April 2 at Jefferson Township Municipal Building, 7407 Lamor Road, Mercer.
