[naviga:h3]Police say video shows drinking[/naviga:h3]

Police say Snapchat video posted by one of three women killed in a crash shows them drinking in the vehicle beforehand.

Bethel Park police have been examining an 8-minute compilation of the videos that an unnamed friend posted on YouTube, in their efforts to determine who was drinking and how much before the crash about 1 a.m. Tuesday.

The driver, Paige Nicole Smith, 21, of Bethel Park; and two of her three passengers; Bianca Herwig, 23, of McDonald, and Heather Camisa, 17, of Finleyville, died when the SUV hit a utility pole.

Police found an empty vodka bottle, which can be seen being passed around in the vehicle in the video.

[naviga:h3]Charges against teenager dropped[/naviga:h3]

Prosecutors have dropped all charges against an athlete at Chartiers Valley High School who had been accused of raping a 17-year-old girl.

Prosecutors told a judge the girl and her mother no longer wanted to press the charges against Ross Wilkerson, 18. Prosecutors alleged that Wilkerson asked the girl to go to a pool house behind his home, saying he had a gift for her, and then sexually assaulted her. But Wilkerson’s defense attorneys say they found text messages that cast doubt on the girl’s story and contend the sex was consensual.

Wilkerson was the leading scorer on the Chartiers Valley basketball team.
