Police reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler Twp

Feb. 13 — Lori A. Petanovich, 36, of Clairton, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said she answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Feb. 13 — Taylor L. Davidson, 29, and Donald J. Slater, 42, of Butler, were charged with misdemeanors criminal conspiracy and theft and summary theft. Police said they made a fraudulent return at Walmart.

Cranberry Twp

Feb. 28 — Breyonna Y. Peterson, 27, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Walmart with $293 worth of merchandise without paying.

Slippery Rock

Feb. 13 — Mohamed A. Aly, 19, of Swatara Township, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Sheetz with $152 worth of merchandise over several occasions.

State police, Butler

Feb. 13 — Steven D. Boyer, 60, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Jan. 26 on Fairground Hill Road, Butler Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.137%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Feb. 12 — Nicholas D. Kristophel, 34, of Renfrew, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Jan. 28 on Spithaler School Road, Forward Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.107%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Feb. 12 — James J. Julin, 60, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault. Police said he pulled someone’s hair and swung nunchucks at them.

Feb. 12 — Dominic V. Pallone, 40, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Jan. 26 on Oneida Valley Road, Oakland Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.178%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Feb. 12 — Elijah H. Stewart, 26, was charged with felony trespassing and summaries criminal mischief and harassment. Police said he entered someone’s home using a key and punched a flat-screen television.

Feb. 12 — Benjamin W. Roberts, 41, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanors DUI, use and possession of drug paraphernalia and false identification to an officer after police stopped him on Perry Highway in Portersville. Police said a field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC, benzoylecgonine, cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl in his system. A stamp bag, needles, metal spoon and Chore Boy were also found in the vehicle, police said.
