Several Mars Area High School students were selected by solo audition for the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association Region Chorus Festival, which took place Wednesday to Friday, March 6 to 8, at Mars Area High School.

The students were seniors Isabela Montes and Alanna Shaw; junior Amelia Collins; and sophomore Elizabeth Kelly. Hannah Carr, Kutztown University director of university choir and vocal ensemble, served as guest conductor, according to a news release from Mars Area School District. The festival ended with a public concert on Friday, March 8, at Mars Area High School.
