Ray Dawson, 76, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

He was born in Verona, Pa., on Nov. 11, 1947, to the late Charles and Virginia (Hight) Dawson.

Ray served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. He was known for being a great brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed watching wrestling and completing word searches in his spare time.

Ray was the brother of Deborah (Ted) Ries, who was his primary caregiver for numerous years.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Robert and John Dawson.
