New day care opens in Cranberry Township

Over the Moon Daycare opened it’s second location on Monday, March 11, at 8050 Rowan Road, Suite 201 in Rowan Towers, across the street from Rowan Elementary School in Cranberry Township.

The new location includes an indoor play area called the Gross Motor Skills Room, which allows students to play even during inclement weather.

Another feature of the location will be the Sensory Room, which will provide children who get overstimulated with a place to self-regulate and relax.

According to co-owner Miranda Samba, Over the Moon aims “to provide a safe and stable learning environment for all children, especially those who come from a trauma or foster-care background.”

The day care also operates a center in Jackson Township at 644 Perry Way.

The center’s new Cranberry Township location is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. To enroll a child at either location, parents can call 724-452-1214.
