More than 2,500 Easter revelers kicked off their 2008 holiday weekend March 21 at Victory Family Church's “Eggstravaganza.”
While thousands of plastic Easter eggs made a roped-off field on the church's large property appear strewn with pastel confetti, many other activities entertained the crowd in between the day's four egg-gathering sessions.
Sarah Poluha, who was 9 at the time of the Easter Egg Hunt in 2008, used appropriate Easter lingo in describing the Eggstravaganza.
“It's sweet,” said Sarah, who also waited patiently in line for the slide, “because there's these big, fat, inflatable things, and I really like going on them. But my favorite is the egg hunt.”
