Isabell Pisor

Isabell Mae Pisor, 84, of Ridgeville, formerly of Ohio, passed away the evening of Sunday, March 24, 2024, after a short illness.

Born in Hilliards on Jan. 4, 1940, Isabell was the daughter of the late Richard and Lela Margaret (Campbell) Pisor.

Isabell enjoyed studying genealogy, traveling, photography and visiting zoos all over the country and loved animals. She camped at Slippery Rock Campground for many years. In her early years, she worked at Mack’s Chicken Farm and later was a self-employed poultry specialist in Ohio for over 42 years.

Isabell is survived by a nephew, David Washington; a great-niece, Ashley (Ryan) Hertzog; and great-great-niece and great-great-nephew, Layla and Bradley Hertzog of Kutztown. She is also survived by a niece, Bobbi Jo Pisor, and sister-in-law, Edna Pisor, both of Ridgeville, who were her caregivers.

She was preceded in death by one sister; two brothers; and two nephews.

PISOR — Visitation for Isabell Mae Pisor, who died Sunday, March 24, 2024, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with retired Methodist minister the Rev. Jim Lewis officiating.

Private burial will be held Friday in Rosewood Cemetery, Ridgeville.
