Evans City Road closed for gas line strike
A stretch of Evans City Road was closed at the intersection of Kriess Road in Connoquenessing Township due to a struck gas line.
Traffic on Kriess Road was diverted.
According to dispatch and scanner chatter, fire police responded to the scene, and the line in question is a high-pressure line. Fire departments from Connoquenessing Township and Butler Township were two of those responding.
