Eclipse party coming to Mars

An eclipse party will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 8, at the Mars Masonic Lodge, 340 Clay Ave., Mars.
Free pizza, soft drinks, Moon Pies and an ice cream truck will be available, and the person sporting the best solar shirt will win a telescope.
Free protective glasses also will be offered, and a DJ will play music.
There is no cost to attend the event, which is sponsored by Rowdy Roots Salon and a business coming to Mars in April, Wrappers.
