An 18-year-old man was injured in a rollover vehicle crash in Butler Township on Monday, April 1, according to police.

Lucas McConnell, of Butler, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital following the crash, which occurred around 8:37 p.m. at the intersection of South Eberhart and New Castle roads. His 17-year-old passenger was uninjured.

According to police, McConnell was traveling northbound on South Eberhart Road at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle, hit an embankment and rolled over several times.

McConnell was cited for speeding and reckless driving, documents showed.
