South Pike Road near the intersections of Cole Drive and Mulone Drive in Buffalo Township is closed while crews deal with utility wires that were pulled down by a truck with an oversize load.

The call came in at around 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, April 7. The downed power wires also caused a nearby transformer to catch fire, according to dispatch.

Buffalo Township police, Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company and Sarver VFC are responding to the scene. West Penn Power has been called to the scene as well, to deal with the downed wires and transformer.
