On April 20, the Pennsylvania Resources Council will launch its “Hard-to-Recycle” collection event series with a collection drive at Karns City Area Jr./Sr. High School starting at 9 a.m.
For a fee of $5, participants can drop off an unlimited amount of items that would normally be turned away from recycling collection events, such as electronic waste, microwave ovens, and polystyrene packaging material.
For an additional fee, participants can also drop off televisions, monitors, Freon components, fluorescent lights, printers and tires.
