Helen Uram, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2024, with her son, Ron, by her side.

Helen was born in Lyndora, in 1929, the youngest of 10 children, to John and Eva Herman. She married Paul Uram in 1949. Helen was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora.

She is survived by her son, Ronald, and his wife, Amy, with whom she made her home. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) Uram of Dallas, Texas, Katherine (Joel) Carracciolo of Cleveland, Ohio and David (Jessica) Uram of Harmony. She also has four great-grandchildren of whom she was very proud, Connor Caracciolo, Luca Uram, Willabea Uram and Greyson Uram. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Sue Herman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and her parents and siblings, Michael, John, Stephen, Peter, Andrew, George, Frank, Nicholas and Mary Herman.

The family would like to thank the Butler County Area Agency on Aging and Helping Hands for their caregiving assistance, especially Marilyn McCall for her loving care.

URAM — Funeral services and burial for Helen Uram, who died Sunday, April 7, 2024, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 105 Kohler Ave., Lyndora, PA 16045.
