After nearly two full days closed, Route 68 between Mars-Evans City Road and Lindsay Road has reopened to traffic, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced on Sunday night.

The road was closed starting on Friday, April 12 to allow for repairs to a sinkhole which had developed on the surface. The closed section is located between Evans City and Jackson Township in the southwest part of the county.
