Police: Vehicle rolls over as driver swerves around deer in Butler Township
A Butler woman suffered minor injuries after attempting to avoid a deer and crashing her vehicle Sunday, April 14, according to township police.
The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. near the railroad tracks on McCalmont Road, police said.
Police said they were notified of the crash via an automatic crash notification. When they arrived on scene, police said a 2021 Toyota Camry was found on its roof over the hillside.
McKenzie Sciarretti, 26, was identified as the driver. She told police she swerved to avoid a deer and went off the road. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, police said.
The crash is still under investigation.
