Slippery Rock’s Book named Region Player of the Year
Slippery Rock junior hoops forward Josh Book was named as the District 10 Region 5 Player of the Year on Monday.
Rockets’ junior Levi Prementine was a second-team Region 5 Boys honoree and CJ Sabo, also a junior, was tabbed as a second-team Region 4 Girls All-Star.
Grove City’s Brett Loughry and Nathan Greer, Sharon’s Derek Douglas and Santino Piccirilli, and Hickory’s Rylan Dye join Book as first-team honorees.
The all-region team and players of the year are voted on by the head coaches.
