Wise

Donald L. Wise, 82, of Butler, peacefully passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024.

He was born in Butler on Oct. 22, 1941, and was a son of the late Herbert W. and Helen L. Patten Wise.

Don was a delivery driver and was employed by the Braun Baking Company in Butler.

He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.

Don enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Margie T. (Mitch Rea) Wise of Pittsboro, N.C., Donald E. Wise of Butler, and Angela (Carl) Gross of Butler; one sister, Lavaughn E. Hawn of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise “Tudy” Kohnen Fisher Wise, who passed away Nov. 14, 2021; and one brother, Harry Wise.

WISE — Friends of Donald L. Wise, who died Saturday, April 13, 2024, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave., Butler.

A blessing service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. John J. Baver officiating.

Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
