Storms knock down trees, wires
A line of strong thunderstorms swept through the region Wednesday evening, April 17, causing minor damage.
As of 9 p.m. Wednesday, residents made more than 30 calls reporting trees or wires knocked down by the wind and rain, according to Butler County dispatch. More calls were still coming in Wednesday evening.
Rain is expected again Friday, with the National Weather Service calling for a 90% chance of showers.
