Armstrong County festival showcases history, art
The Armstrong County Historical Museum and Genealogical Society is hosting an artisan festival and quilt show on May 4 at 300 N. McKean St. in Kittanning.
The event, held in partnership with the Armstrong County Arts Council, will feature artisan demonstrations, historic and locally made quilts on display, food and activities for children from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Visitors can enjoy an afternoon of creativity and tour the county’s historic museum and 17th century log cabin.
Admission is free, and parking is available behind the museum via North Grant Avenue and on Vine and McKean streets.
