Lori Jo (Flevaris) Rivera, 59, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

She was born in Pittsburgh on Aug. 2, 1964, to the late James “Jim” Flevaris and Elizabeth “Betty” Hockenberry.

Lori was employed as a certified Mental Health and Mental Retardation caregiver. She loved to sing and play the piano, nature and enjoyed the sun and warm weather, and enjoyed traveling.

She was extremely proud of her Greek heritage and family. Above all, she loved her children and grandchildren to pieces. Lori was known for her contagious smile, and being a very giving person and would help anyone. She loved anyone and always spread the word of God.

Lori was the beloved wife of Jose “Chiqui” Rivera, since their marriage in 1987; mother of Joshua, Jeremy and Jaime Rivera; sister of George Flevaris, Georgette Puckett, Jeanne Markovich and Sophia Gaus; grandmother of Jordan Harman, Damien Savage, Maddix Rivera, Carter Defrancisis, Jalissa Rivera, Miya Rivera, Roman Rivera and Sutton Rivera.

RIVERA — A celebration of life for Lori Jo (Flevaris) Rivera, who died Tuesday, April 16, 2024, will be held at a later date.
