Charges pending after teenagers fight in Allegheny Township
A fight involving two teenagers in Allegheny Township sent one to the hospital, and the other may be facing charges, according to state police.
Documents show the fight took place Sunday, April 14, between a 16-year-old boy from Butler and a 17-year-old boy from West Mifflin on Dakota Drive in Allegheny Township.
The 17-year-old allegedly picked up the 16-year-old and slammed him to the ground headfirst, according to police.
Documents showed the 16-year-old was unconscious for two minutes before being transported to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. Police said he suffered a severe concussion and minor brain bleed.
According to police, charges are pending in relation to the assault.
