Marie Shirley Hall, 87, of Butler, peacefully passed away on Thursday evening, April 18, 2024, at her residence following an illness.

Born May 30, 1936, in Porter Township, Clarion County, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Irene McMaster Brinker.

She was a faithful member of the North Main Street Church of God, Butler.

After raising her children, Marie was a clerk for Johnson Tax Service in Butler, and also worked in retail for 10 years at the Sears store in the Clearview Mall, Butler.

Marie and her husband, Bob, spent many retirement years living in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and she also enjoyed cruising, traveling and wintering in the South.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert V. Hall, whom she married June 24, 1955; her children, Vicki (James) Whitfield of Bethel Park, and Kevin (Kimberly) Hall of Butler; three grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Joshua Hall and Kayla (Nick) Hedderick; and siblings, Thelma Doverspike of Mercer, and Arlene Powell of New Bethlehem.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Fay Reichard.

HALL — A celebration of life service for Marie Shirley Hall, who died Thursday, April 18, 2024, will be held at 11 a.m. May 4, 2024, at North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Extension, Butler, with the Rev. Vance Neal officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St., Butler, PA 16001, or VNA Hospice, Western Pennsylvania, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.
