As fields recover from the heavy rains in early April, farmers like William Thiele of Thiele Dairy Farm have kept busy preparing for planting season.
On Monday, April 22, he said he anticipates planting crops in late May.
While Thiele took a look at farm equipment Monday, his father, Edward Thiele, could be seen spraying fields with weed killer to prepare for the upcoming planting season.
