Police Reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
April 8 — Joel D. Balot, 49, of Oil City, was charged with seven counts of misdemeanor drug possession and misdemeanor possessing an offensive weapon. Police said he was found with brass knuckles and suspected methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana and LSD.
April 8 — Dale C. Schroder, 61, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor trespassing. Police said he went into a home that was not his.
April 8 — Maria N. Young, 29, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanors theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Police said she removed oxycodone and clonazepam pills from a purse and took someone’s vehicle without permission.
April 8 — Aaron J. Hutchison, 25, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and use and possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped him Oct. 23 on Route 8, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired and a later blood test showed traces of fentanyl and benzolecgonine in his system. Police said he was also found with glassine bags and a smoking pipe.
April 6 — Marissa R. Kirkman, 24, of Bakerstown, was charged with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault, and summaries harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said she punched someone and broke some items that belonged to the person.
April 5 — Walter S. Kradel, 43, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment, and summaries harassment, disorderly conduct and driving with a suspended license. Police said he struck and threatened to kill someone while on a motorcycle.
April 4 — Todd C. Montgomery, 40, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Police said he did not comply with officer’s commands.
April 3 — Ashley E. Polachek, 41, of Harrisville, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI after police stopped her March 23 on Route 8, Brady Township. Police said a field sobriety test showed she was impaired and a later breath test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.094%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
April 3 — Matthew N. Ford, 37, of Mercer, was charged with felony and misdemeanors theft and accidents involving property damage in two separate cases. Police said on March 20 he left Sheetz in Harrisville with cases of alcohol without paying for them and was later involved in a crash where he did not leave his information.
April 3 — Paula A. Drushel, 46, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her March 16 on Dick Road, Franklin Township. Police said she showed signs of impairment and a later breath test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.158%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
April 3 — Alyssa K. Boyd, 33, of Glenshaw, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her March 15 on Jefferson Street, Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.147%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
