Police reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
April 14 — John R. Murphy, 49, of Gibsonia, was charged with misdemeanors strangulation and simple assault. Police said he put his arms around someone’s neck and struck them in the face.
April 8 — Elizer Rojas-Cortes, 61, of Lyndora, was charged with misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia and summary public drunkenness. Police said he was found with two smoking pipes.
April 8 — Shawna Schnur, 39, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and drug possession after crashing her vehicle March 18 on Mercer Street. Police said a field sobriety test showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of Xanax in her system.
April 15 — Michael P. Beer, 32, of Tarentum, was charged with felony contraband. Police said he was found with Suboxone in the Butler County Prison.
April 9 — Erin C. Torres, 35, of Butler, was charged with felony forgery and misdemeanor possession of a criminal instrument. Police said she attempted to use a counterfeit bill at the Butler County Clerk of Courts.
April 11 — Crystal M. Cicatella, 44, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said she struck someone in the head and face.
April 10 — Michael L. Holt, 43, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after crashing his vehicle Feb. 21 on Old Plank Road. Police said he showed signs of impairment and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.16%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
April 11 — Eugene T. Bertram, 64, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Down Range Supply.
April 8 — William R. Konar Jr., 55, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Feb. 19 on Fontana Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.235%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
April 8 — Roger B. Tweed, 71, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after a crash March 7 at Sam’s Club. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.205% with traces of marijuana. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
April 25 — Chae S. Yu, 52, of Aliquippa, was charged with felony and misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Best Buy with $1,589 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
April 25 — David J. Mydlowski, 38, of Pittsburgh, was charged with felony access device fraud. Police said he cashed an altered check.
April 18 — Erika Anderson, 27, of Acme, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her April 6 on Route 228. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol level at 0.166%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
April 14 — Quint R. Marshall, 54, of New Castle, was charged with institutional vandalism and summary public drunkenness. Police said he urinated on the walls and in a holding cell in the police station.
April 11 — Spencer E. McFall, 22, of Oil City, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him April 7 on South Main Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.089%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
April 10 — Riley P. Succheralli, 18, of Homer City, was charged with misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was found with 83 marijuana roaches and a pipe.
April 15 — Madelin A. Webb, 28, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felony strangulation, misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said she placed her hands around someone’s neck and punched them.
April 10 — David D. Schrey, 56, of Evans City, was charged with felony strangulation, misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he put his hands around someone’s neck.
April 9 — Keith T. Hohman, 33, of Tarentum, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with a digital scale covered in suspected cocaine.
April 9 — William W. Hollefreund, 55, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him April 6 on Route 8, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.141%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
April 8 — Jerred M. Carr, 37, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession after police stopped him March 26 on Pittsburgh Road, Butler Township. Police said he was found with suspected crack cocaine and Chore Boy.
