SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University’s baseball team cruised to a 14-1 victory over Notre Dame (Ohio) College in non-conference action on Tuesday at Critchfield Park.

Koby Bubash had a three-run homer and four RBI on the day for The Rock (25-16). Brandon Butler and Gage Gillott both had two hits and two RBI, Gillott collecting a pair of doubles. Joey Purcell, Michael Kitko and Noah Ross all had two hits as well for SRU.

SRU used six pitchers with starter Parker Hogge tossing three shutout innings to get the win.

The Rock returns to PSAC West action on Thursday, traveling to Clarion for a 1 p.m. doubleheader. SRU hosts the Golden Eagles for a 1 p.m. twinbill Friday at Critchfield Park.
