Big day on track for Butler County

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Cyclone Ben, driven by Slippery Rock’s Brady Brown and trained by Steve Schoeffel of Evans City, scored a win Thursday during harness racing action at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

The 3-year-old gelding captured a $10,900 Conditioned Trot. Brown added a second win with Little Town Road, taking an $11,900 trot.

Evans City native Aaron Johnston collected a win when he guided Rising MVP to a first-over victory, the 9-year-old gelding lifting his career bankroll to over $500,000.
