Marjorie J. Gold, 89, of Hilliards, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024.

She was born in Hilliards June 17, 1934, and was the daughter to the late Floyd and Ruth (Parton) Hilliard. Marjorie loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She liked to play cards and do many arts and crafts, and she was a member of Hilliards Methodist Church.

Marjorie was the beloved wife of the late Miles Gold for more than 40 years; mother of Michael Gold Sr.; grandmother of James (Angel) Gold, Robert (Amanda) Benscooter, Matthew Gold, Brandi (Brandon) Biesinger and Michael (Sarah) Gold Jr; and great-grandmother to several great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her children, Richard, Jack, Kevin and Deborah Gold; grandson, Brian Benscooter; and daughter-in-law, Mary Louise Gold.

GOLD — Family and friends of Marjorie J. Gold, who died Friday, May 3, 2024, will be received on from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately.
